Product Features
Amorphous alloy core offers extremely low no-load loss due to narrow hysteresis loop. Three-phase five-limb wound core structure reduces overall height and eases assembly. Most models use copper foil windings for balanced amp-turns and high short-circuit strength. Load loss is about 80% lower than the S9 series (vs. S9). No oil change required under normal operation, lowering maintenance costs and extending life. Generally recovers additional investment cost within four years compared to silicon steel transformers.
